One God One Way
About Course
The Word of God
Introduction
Instructions to Students
This course is designed for those who have had no previous Bible training. The course covers the Gospel of John, the fourth book of the New Testament. It tells about the Lord Jesus and His life on earth. The book presents Jesus to us as the Word of God and tells us about the things that Jesus did.
To get the most from this course, you will need a copy of the New Testament or a complete Holy Bible.
If you find that you have questions about the course as you study. Write them out on a separate sheet of paper. Include them with the exam and your instructor will be happy to assist you in finding answers.
If you find words in the lessons that you do not understand, we suggest that you look them up in a dictionary. Every Bible student is continually finding new words; so, do not hesitate to look up the meanings for yourself.
How to Study
This study has twelve chapters that will greatly help you. Each chapter has its own exam. Begin by asking God to open your heart to receive the truths He would teach you from His Word. Read the chapter through at least twice, once to get a general idea of its contents and then again, slowly, looking up all the Scripture references.
Make sure you read the Gospel of John as you go through the course. A number of questions in the exam may be based on the Scripture text in addition to the course material.
Exams
The exams can be found in the center section of this course. Each exam covers one chapter (Exam 1, for example, covers chapter 1 of the course). Do not answer the questions by what you think or have always believed. The questions are designed to find out if you understand the material and the Scripture verses given in the course.
After you have completed each chapter, review the related exam, and see how well you know the answers. If you find that you are having difficulty answering the questions, review the material until you think you can answer the questions.
